Anne-Marije Rook of CyclingTips covers women who go unnoticed in the cycling community but make the world of women’s cycling go ’round. I constantly struggle with my body image and inundating myself with brands and images of “what a woman on a bike” should look like. Where are my role models? Where are the women that look like me? Are we not accepted in this world of cycling? Surely you don’t think I’m not worth making clothes for? Is my money not good enough?
Reading Rook’s interview with Marley Blonsky reminds me that I am not alone. And I am badass, and I AM WORTH IT.
